YOUTUBE VIDEO OF THE WEEK

Every week I'll try and post something that someone forwarded to me or I found myself that caught my attention.

Ever wonder what your dogs are up to when you're not home?

WATCH NOW!

SOME STUFF YOU WANTED TO KNOW, SOME YOU DIDN'T

BIRTHPLACE:  Canton, OH

HOME:  Wellington

CAREER HISTORY:  My career has taken me coast-to-coast, which in one way has been great because I've lived in cities I probably never would have if not for radio, including Atlanta and Portland, OR.  The Pacific Northwest is especially beautiful.  Northeast Ohio will always be home, but I'm really happy to be living in South Florida!

INTERESTS:  Baseball has really become a passion of mine over the years, not only following my Cleveland Indians, but the entire league in general.  I watch and attend as many games as I can, without my wife wanting to throw a brick through the TV.  I also do the fantasy baseball thing....it's not just for geeks anymore!  It's a great way to keep in touch with friends that live far away.  I play softball on a team in Royal Palm once a week (big shout-out to the guys on Keller Williams!)  And when I'm not ignoring my wife and my two dogs when I'm doing all these things, I spend the rest of my free time with them.

FAVORITE CONCERT:  I don't see as many as people might think, usually I just attend the ones that WRMF brings to you!  My musical tastes are stuck in the 1990's, so I will go with any concert that I've seen that has included the Barenaked Ladies.  The most entertaining stage show I've ever seen.

MOVIES:  I constantly get teased about this....but I think "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" is one of the greatest movies on my personal list of all-time best.  I love movies that involve symbolism, and this one just worked on so many different levels for me.  With that said, I also enjoy the "Anchorman", "Wedding Crashers", "Superbad" type of movies that are coming out right now.

TELEVISION:  I record Letterman every night, and watch it the next day.  "The Office", "Scrubs", and I haven't stopped watching "Grey's Anatomy" yet.

BOOKS OR MAGAZINES:  I subscribe to "Entertainment Weekly" and "ESPN The Magazine".  Recent books that I've read that are non-baseball related include "Live From New York" (a SNL book), "The Five People You Meet In Heaven", and "Love Is A Mix Tape".  Plus I've read all of the Harry Potter books!

WHAT'S ON MY IPOD:  Some people are surprised when they find out I don't have any music on there.  Instead, I download TV shows and just listen to the audio, including "Meet The Press", "Face The Nation", "60 Minutes", and "Real Time With Bill Maher".  Instead of sitting in front of my TV, I can take the dogs for a walk and learn about what's going on in the world.

MEMORABLE ON-AIR MOMENT:  In a negative way, it's when the show was "Punk'd" and I thought I had booked Michael J. Fox on the show.  Instead, it was a "phone prank" guy by the name of Brad The Cripple.  In a positive way, I think it was when I tricked the show into thinking I was considering leaving Paula....and then announcing my engagement!

LITTLE-KNOWN FACT ABOUT ME:  I was in two plays in high-school.  I did not date much.

COOLEST CELEBRITY I'VE EVER MET:  Nelly Furtado.  I've met her twice now.  The second time was about 3 years apart, and she remembered me.  I thought she was only being nice, but she actually remembered specific details and I thought that was very cool.

DREAM GUEST TO GET BOOKED ON THE SHOW:  David Letterman.

STRANGEST RUMOR I EVER HEARD ABOUT MYSELF:  This happened back in Cleveland.  A girl who I only knew casually started telling the entire city that we used to date and saying all kinds of mean things about me, including that I have "fat calves".  Complete strangers were informing me of this.  My thighs are large, but not fat.

FAVORITE LOCAL BARS:  The Oakwood Grill (of course!) for Friday Happy Hours, The Gypsy Horse in Wellington, the Square Grouper.

FAVORITE LOCAL RESTAURANTS:  The Queen Mary in Jupiter, Spoto's Oyster Bar, Shingo's Japanese.

WORST HABIT:  If you ask the show members, they will probably come up with a long list for you.  I will choose biting my fingernails.

DREAM VACATION:  It would take longer than the vacation days I am currently allowed, but I'd love to rent an RV and hit every Major League Baseball park in one trip.

FAVORITE ROAD-TRIP FROM SOUTH FLORIDA:  Even souther Florida....Key West was fun.  We've only done it once, however.

FAVORITE JUNK FOOD:  Anything that ends in an "O".  Doritos, Cheetos, Fritos.  Although I can't eat them much anymore so I switched to Sun Chips.

DO I COOK:  No, but I help Paula when I can.  I'll make her breakfast on the weekends sometimes.

WHAT DO I DO AROUND THE HOUSE:  Vacuum, unload the dishwasher, fold the clothes!  I'm grounded if I don't get these all done by Sunday night.

PET PEEVE:  Slow internet connections.

FIRST CD PURCHASED:  Can I say cassette?  Because it was "Thriller" from Michael Jackson.

PETS:  We have a 4 year old lab mix named Reagan and a 1 year old lab/demon mix named Olive.

ANY NICKNAMES:  No, but I wish I had one.  Once I was with a friend of mine in college in Kent, OH and we were walking downtown and I gave a homeless guy some change.  All the guy said to me was "T-Bone!"  So I was T-Bone for awhile.  I don't really like that name much.

THREE THINGS TO DO BEFORE I DIE:  Besides visiting all of the baseball parks, I want to visit Germany during Oktoberfest and to do a genuine English Pub Crawl.  Also, to visit Nova Scotia in the fall.  Not everything I want to do involves beer.
