Selena Gomez was her Dad's wingman?

In the new issue of "Harper's Bazaar", Selena says, quote, "When I was seven, my dad would go to Hooters to watch [San Antonio] Spurs games.

"But he started noticing that when I would come, with my little pigtails, all the waitresses would be like, 'Hey!'  So he ended up spending time with me but with all those cute girls coming over.  And that became our thing."

Selena also admits that she doesn't get asked out a lot.  And she adds, quote, "It's not like I've wanted to go out and look for someone. I'm not really good at that."

Mum's the word from January Jones!

The paparazzi tried to harass JANUARY JONES about her alleged affair with Miley Cyrus's fiance  LIAM HEMSWORTH at Los Angeles International Airport, and she ignored them. 

Ummm, if she DIDN'T do it, why isn't she saying?!?

Meanwhile, MILEY was spotted without her engagement ring on Thursday - the second consecutive night she left home without it.

According to yesterday's "Parade" magazine, TAYLOR SWIFT made more last year than ANNE HATHAWAYand BRAD PITT combined.

Taylor made $57 million in 2012.  Anne "only" made $10 million, despite being in two major movies, "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Les Miserables" . . . and winning an Oscar.  Meanwhile, Brad made $35.5 million.

Here's somebody else who made more than Brad and Anne:  JUSTIN BIEBER.  He came close to Taylor with $55 million . . . an estimated $6,261 PER HOUR.

So long to Joy Behar AND Elizabeth Hasselback from The View!

Last week, JOY BEHAR announced she was leaving "The View", and now "Us" magazine reports that ELISABETH HASSELBECK won't be back either.

Supposedly, Elisabeth is being PUSHED OUT, because she isn't popular with the audience.  A so-called "source" says, quote, "The viewers they polled all said she was too extreme and right wing.

"People did not watch the show because of Elisabeth.  So, they told her yesterday her contract would not be renewed."

"Star" magazine says Elisabeth is being let go because they want to bring in some fresh voices.  They say it's a, quote, "desperate attempt to renew interest in the show."

Showbiz411.com has the line on a potential replacement:  BROOKE SHIELDS.  The site says BARBARA WALTERS "really wants her," and adds, quote, "the deal isn't done yet . . . but it's THIS CLOSE."
