This is better than my soap opera!!
ANDREW SILVERMAN was apparently blindsided by his wife LAUREN'S affair with SIMON COWELL. His divorce papers accuse Lauren of adultery and "cruel and inhuman treatment." Sources close to the situation are calling Lauren a gold-digger, and saying she got pregnant on purpose.
Everyone involved in the SIMON COWELL baby drama spoke yesterday. Simon said, quote, "There are a lot of things I will eventually clear up when the time is right, but I really have to be sensitive because there's a lot of people's feelings involved here." And ANDREW and LAUREN SILVERMAN just released generic statements about wanting to resolve everything.
SIMON COWELL was reportedly blindsided by the news that he had impregnated 36-year-old LAUREN SILVERMAN. And he's wondering if he got taken for a ride. A source says, quote, "He assumed she was using birth control. He thought this was a casual relationship . . . He is feeling tricked."
Back in May, the media started sniffing around SIMON COWELL'S relationship with LAUREN SILVERMAN . . . the woman we now know to be 10 weeks pregnant with his baby. And his lawyer said, quote, "Any implication or statement that my client is engaged in adultery and has allegedly broken up the marriage of Ms. Silverman is not only false but reckless."
The REAL reason for the HOT Nick Jonas pic -
On RYAN SEACREST'S radio show yesterday, NICK JONAS discussed his now-infamous shirtless selfie. He said, quote, "There's a lot of people running around without their shirts on these days, so I just didn't want to add to the noise. ButI felt like as a diabetic . . . it's twice as hard for us diabetics to stay in shape. I just wanted to give some inspiration to those people."
Sorry Amanda! But just get better!
AMANDA BYNES lost her bid for freedom yesterday. In a hearing that took place in the hospital psych ward, a judge decided that Amanda is NOT ready to be released just yet. Mostly because she isn't totally stable yet, and her condition hasn't been formally diagnosed. But sources say the meds Amanda is on ARE helping. For instance, she's no longer talking to herself or insulting people.
Activia ALMOST lost its spokeperson!
JAMIE LEE CURTIS was a passenger in an SUV that hit a BMW. She was taken to a hospital, but she only suffered minor injuries. But for some reason, the first call Jamie made after the accident was to JODIE FOSTER, who showed up almost immediately.
LINDSAY LOHAN got right back to work yesterday, taping her guest-hosting stint on "Chelsea Lately". Sources say she arrived on time and was great from rehearsals through the entire taping. She even joked about herself by saying she'd just been on a "90-day court-ordered vacation." The episode airs Monday night.
THREE sequels? I think one more would have been fine for me.
JAMES CAMERON announced yesterday that there will now be THREE "Avatar" sequels. Or possibly two sequels and a prequel. The movies are expected to hit theaters between 2016 and 2018, with one coming out each December.
Wow. Glee isn't messing around
A Fox exec says that the death of CORY MONTEITH'S character on "Glee", Finn, will, quote, "deal directly with drug abuse." The episode will also include anti-drug PSAs featuring members of the "Glee" cast.
Does anyone actually CARE anymore?!
Fox has confirmed that KEITH URBAN is coming back to judge "American Idol" next season. No other judges are official . . . but a Fox exec admits that they have had "discussions" with JENNIFER LOPEZ about returning.
